Weekly rhythm

Daily schedule — grade-split model

7th graders attend Tuesday (Day A) and Thursday (Day B) in person. 6th graders take Monday and Wednesday. Fridays are field experiences for both grades. Remote days have structured, bounded task lists — never open-ended "work on your project."

Every remote day has a concrete, time-boxed task list. No open-ended "work on your project" — students know exactly what to do and when they're done.

Tuesdays and Thursdays are reserved for things that require physical presence: wind tunnels, model builds, burn tests, Shark Tank pitches, lab work.

Thursday live virtual check-ins in small groups of 4–5. Remote ≠ invisible. Future City collaborative work is structured so each team member has a defined remote role.
